Evenings out in Lymington and Yarmouth can now start earlier.
Wightlink’s Evening Flyer tickets on the popular Western Solent route are now valid from 14:00 instead of 16:00 every day. That gives foot passengers embarking Wightlink’s car ferries at Yarmouth or Lymington more time to catch up with friends or family, browse boutique shops or just explore on the other side of the water.
Evening Flyer day returns cost £14.40 for adults, £12.20 for students (16+), £10.70 for senior citizens (60+) and £7.20 for children (15 and under). Island residents can get further discounts by using their MyLink card. Railcard discounts may also apply, check for details.
Weekend day trippers can travel using Evening Flyer on many of the route’s extra sailings this summer. On average, there will be another 16 round-trips on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays in the timetable from April to the end of August.
“We are responding to requests from people who live in the West Wight and New Forest who would like to make the most of their time on the other side of the Solent,” says Marketing and Innovation Director Stuart James.
“Our extra weekend sailings this summer will give more people the chance to sail on one of the most beautiful routes in the world.”
