Tucked away in the West Wight is Freshwater Bay, just south to the town of Freshwater. Its chalk cliff surroundings make it one of the most picturesque beaches on the Isle of Wight, and the grey flint and chalk pebbles create a beautifully unique sound as the tide rises and falls on the shore.
On the more eastern side of the bay there are some more sandy areas to sit, and a rock ledge is revealed at low tide making it the perfect place for rockpooling with the kids.
