10 top tips for festival goers

With a superb summer lined up, here are our top tips for having a fab festival!

1. Camping? Decorate your tent so it’s easily spotted among the sea of canvas.
2. Invest in a money belt – a bum-bag (fanny-pack) or small bag will keep your money, phone and valuables close to hand at all times
3. Pack a poncho! Get yourself one of those small packable raincoats to whip out at the sign of rain (it is the UK after all)
4. Don’t forget to hydrate. Water is a must – the combination of the sun (hopefully) and a few glasses of bubbly may leave you feeling a little less than ‘festi-fresh’. Bring a refillable bottle to the festival with you.
5. Avoid getting ‘hangry’ – the queues for food may be long, so pack a few non-perishable snacks to keep you going.
6. Stock up on biodegradable wipes – festival makeup and glitter can be stubborn and get everywhere.
7. Bring along some bathroom essentials – you’ll thank us for reminding you to take toilet paper and hand sanitiser.
8. Get charged up – portable battery chargers will be your lifeline, we promise!
9. Sounds of summer – create a playlist of all the bands you’re going to see to get you in the festival vibe in the run-up… we have created a summer playlist on Spotify to get you started (see list below)!
10. Be a responsible festivaller – take your tent home with you and make sure you use it again. The ‘disposable’ tent trend is not cool.
